About This File
BitmapSlicer (part of the LuaUI Extension)
Turns a UI atlas (sprite sheet) into named, ready-to-use slices for the Lua UI. Open an image, carve it into regions, refine them to the pixel, and export the cut tables your window scripts need, with no hand-counting of coordinates.
Creating slices
- Auto-detect elements: finds the sprites in the atlas for you.
- Split into grid (rows × columns), or straight horizontal / vertical cuts at a point.
- Manual: draw and drag selection rectangles by hand.
Refining
- Grow to content (snap out to the full element) and Trim to opaque (shrink tight to the non-transparent pixels), per slice or all at once.
- Resize, duplicate, rename, delete; Undo; zoom and Fit view.
Exporting
- Lua cut tables: paste straight into Lua UI window scripts (LuaUI Ext)
- JSON: save your project and reopen it later to keep editing
- PNG: export each slice as its own image
Requirements
- Windows with .NET Framework 4.6.2 or later, already built into Windows 10/11 (nothing to install); on older Windows, get it free from Microsoft.
